Facility Security Team

  • Appointed by the Senior Management Official (SMO) in writing and is part of the company’s Key Management Personnel (KMP).
  • Responsible for implementing, managing, and providing guidance to company leadership, employees, and sub-contractors on security issues such as security education training and awareness (SETA), insider threat, classified document control, physical security, personnel security clearance actions, facility clearance (FCL) administration, and program security requirements.
  • Completes the required FSO training per 32 CFR Part 117.
  • Knowledge of NISS, DISS/NBIS, eApp process, and SWFT.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures in coordination with the company’s Senior Management Official.
  • Manage personnel clearance actions, physical security for SCI activities, and is the security program manager for company accredited SCIFs.
  • Able to work independently in an operational environment and possess full knowledge of security principles, concepts, practices, and products.
  • Understand specific IC agency clearance database administration (i.e., SCT/TALON, etc.).
  • Responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures in coordination with the company’s Senior Management Official.
  • Manage personnel clearance actions, physical security for SCI activities, and is the security program manager for company accredited SCIFs, including nomination interviews, validation of access requirements, submission of investigative requests and nomination packages, and SCI indoctrinations including the execution of legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
  • Understand specific IC agency clearance database administration (i.e., SCT/TALON, etc.).
  • An FSO or an employee that meets these requirements: a U.S citizen, company employee, cleared in connection with and to the level of the Facility Clearance, and appointed in writing by the SMO.
  • Responsible for establishing and executing a Insider Threat Program per 32 CFR Part 117 ensuring the FSO is an integral part of the program.
  • Completed ITPSO training per the 32 CFR Part 117.
  • Responsible for performing security services, such as patrols and checks for a business or facility.
  • Perform job duties such as checking badges at entryways, managing arrivals for classified meetings, standing guard at a particular position, submitting visit authorization requests via DISS at the direction of the FSO.
